IMF InSync Music Factory is opening soon ...............

Told ya that we are working on something new? Long, Long time ago Fred was a DJ in SL. But the DJ-ing got him into a lot of drama. So after we ended up he slowly got out of that. Not that I wanted him too but he did. I know he misses it. He knows so much about music. He also is capable to make wonderfull sets. he can capture his feeling at that moment with the music he chooses. So after me nagging on him he decided to get back. Well if he has time for it. So we decided to get out the factory and remodel it. It's becoming a great club. It won't have the purpose to get it running for the whole week. It will be a place where Fred can run his sets and maybe some of his friends will have some sets there aswell............. it's a growing thing and we don't have excact idea of what it will going to be.we will go with the flow! We will anounce our sets through facebook and twitter become friends with us and you will know when it is happening. It will be impromtue and there will be no real timeing for it. Just for enjoying music and having fun together!

What are QR-Codes?

I was wandering along the web. Ever heared of QR codes?? Well I didn't. So I asked Fred if his HTC touch-and-I can-do everything-Thingie had the possibilitie to read these codes too. And just as me he never heared of it before. Its something that has popped over from Japan. They use it on everything. But what is it?? It's a 2-D graphic mobile phone readable barcode. On most newer mobile phones these readers are already installed. If it isn't installed yet you can find any of them on the web. 
But what can you do with it?? As said before it's a barcode. You take a picture of it with your mobile and with the QR-Code reader you can read what it has in it. This can be anything as from text to url's. Funny textes but also adresses of your business whatever you like to get in. Online there are generators that will help you to make one. So what's the gadget................... you get a QR code somewhere you are publishing something. Somebody else takes a picture of it with his/her mobile and get's the message directly. Or they will get the URL right away and get directed to it if they are online. It's a whole new way and I even read that there are car's in Switzerland driving around with QR-codes on it. While you are waiting at the lights to get green you take a picture and get the information they want you to get!

Did you think it over when you started SL?? That the name you picked would be the one that almost feels like your own? Well i didn't but after 3 years it does. Maybe it's because I choose a name that was close to my own. I was playing Ceasar and on the forums when people dragged me into SL. So that's why i came up with AEster. Adding to that that I loved the hospital series ER and nurse Hathaway was involved with the ever so adobo George Clooney .....................

Halloween spot at InSync

In order to show of our animated- mirrors, our creepy girl and our scary family portrait we got a small halloween spot too. As you can see we have some other stuff for sell there too. Twitter and a background ........................

As said I started InSync on twitter and in that case it seemed nice to have a official own background. After some considerations I decided to make a collage of everything we did in the past year. So it became a mix and match of all kinds of things. From textures to tipjars to houses, boats and give away's. it was nice to wander through all the textures and all the logo's to see what would be nice there. here's a little view of it and if you like to see it bigger go to Twitter and join us there:)

Halloween is peeking .......................

YaY!!!! We are in time this time!! We always forget to make things for the holiday seasons. We are always way to late with cool ideas like steampunk eggs way after Easter. Not this time then!!!!!!

We have made several animated pictures for you to add to your spooky houses or gohst towns .................. We'll leave that up to you!! Have fun with them!!

Oh nooo not exploring again ................

YES. As I told before Fred isn't back yet (well he wasn't when i wrote this) and all I can do is wander along Second Life. I am feeling sorry for my self, why doesn't anybody love me ................................ The place I popped up makes that feeling even grow. It's Wastelands. And it looks how it sounds. One big dump, streets got broken during the war. You see houses standing in the almighty desert now while they obviously have been builded on the sides of a mighty lake that now has been dried out. It certainly is a deserted piece of the earth. Were people go that have lost their believes in hapiness. The end of the world. Go and wander, see yourself. I love their own description tho they say it with better words then I can:

Fun things to do in Second Life

OK now I am really getting weird. Altho ................... I like fishing in RL too. Yes this post is about fishing. Have you ever tried that in SL? 7seas has a great yeah what shall I call it ................. thingie for it. You get a vendor, get bait and a rod (you can even adjust it to what you are wearing at the moment really nice for fashion addicts lol). Now you are ready and here you go.................. fun part is of course to do it with others. But I like doing it on my own too. It's kindof relaxing and it is fun to search for the rare and extraordinairy fishies. Sometimes you get bikini's or whatever. Or the obvious tires. But there are a lot of fun fishies, you can wear them and even give them a name. What about a Shrimpcoctail???

I digged in my inv for a nice picture that I took at the headquarters, that's where you have to go to get all the stuff. Really you should give it a try its fun relaxing and you make new friends easily (if you like to talk about fish of course) ..................... take the rowboat and have a look.

I found a real Jewel

I found a real Jewel and I advise you to go and have a look at it quickly before it has gone again. IBM is giving people the opportunity to exhibit in SL. This time it is Bryn Oh that picked up the towel. Its the story of the Rabbicorn. As you click the teleporters you wander along the story. Static views with the story in a poem .................. it's excellent. It's marvelous it is ................ I have no words to express what kindof experience this is. You wil have to have a look at it before it has gone again. I don't know untill what date this is running.

As we have our Flickr-streaming too I always watch what other people do and see. Torley has always something new to tell and this time it was a bout a shop called "Cartoonimals'. I don't have much to say about it. It's just funny and it makes you feel like you are into a roadrunners-toon. Love the stuff. specially the funny hats and the cute slippers and pj's.

I always said we should have something funny for our customers. But then Frederic always replied with : yes dear, but what dear! Then I always answered: ............erm I don't know. I didn't want to make a tattoo, or a T-shirt. We have been thinking of making a a doghouse or a gardenshed. But somehow we never got something truely right. Untill Frederic had a grumpy day. He didn't want to DJ didn't want to build didn't want to allign textures all of this was making him even more grumpy. So he started to do something out of the blue. And right before my eyes it grew. Turbojets, 3 chairs, engines ................... he started to ask me for some textures. And together we made this FunJet happen. Together with a great build-in script it can fly and move you and your friends around. We use it a lot, to show people around our buildings. Therefore it is beside fun usefull too. come and grab yours at our shop it cannot be the price why you are still hesitating???!!!!

SL Exploring: Port Babbage

It is always hard to find a nice place to explore. it fully depends of course of what you like to see. our views are always colored by the fact of building. We like Steampunk very much. It gives us the creativity to think out of the box. To make things that wouldn't be possble to have in RL but because of our virtual possibilities we can make them look like if they were real. The Babbage's sims are places were you can see what you actually can name Steampunk. These sims are really nice to wander in with nice buildings, there are shops too and it has a very alive community with a great website. It is an option to RP but it's not strictly asked for. Start your exploration at Port Babbage and wander over all three of them.............................

Grand Opening Da Vinci Isle

As From Saturday Feb 14th Da Vinci Isle has opened. -Insync- was able to make their gift and freebie for it. They wanted to have a cigarbox with their logo, to handout cigars. This sounds like a rather easy thing to make. If it wasn't that Frederic has high standards. First the cigars had to be wearable. So they needed to look like real. He made them look real!!

As I provided the textures he made the darn things look great. They have ash coming from the tip. They glow up and the smoke is InSync with that. They look wonderfull. It made us also aware of some new scripting and even I tried to figure out how it works and eventually we did it together.

Next to all of this we had to make the box very low prim of course because every SL-er knows that it has to look great but it has to be low prim too.

Be sure you often visit da Vinci isle because their events change all the time!!!!!

We made this tipjar on request. It was fun to make and she is for sure making money with it. Everytime somebody pays it it will give a yellow burst of particles. It was fun to make and it is for sure fun to use. If you want one and want it customized with your own text or name give us an IM.

As I prolly never mentioned (and it is totally boring and it doesn't even interest you at all) Fred and I met at the SubClub where my Sis Jade and my BIL (Brother In Law) where ruling. Fred was a DJ and I liked to hang out with my family there. One of the things a DJ need to have is of course a tipjar. And Fred who is still an excelent DJ (for now is totally addicted to building) had made his own. It's a ............................. well you can see what it is. Sometimes I just ask myself what he is thinking 0-0.............................madman!!
